The celebration of another great anniversary is behind us. Last year, together with the Niš group Kerber, we celebrated their 40th birthday at the Summer Stage in the fortress. This calendar year, our dear neighbors from Chair are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Radniški Niš 1923 football club.
On that occasion, on Sunday, April 25, Meraklije organized a concert in the center of Niš, featuring performances by Gale Kerber, Najda (Smak), Voodoo Popay, Totalni Klošari, Fighting Sparrow, and DJs Funky Janki and Ceka. There was also a torchlight procession, fireworks, and a large number of Real fans from Nišava.
We were very pleased to support this story and presented the “dear celebrant” with a large “package” of Niš beer and Niš klaker, so that the faithful Meraklije could refresh themselves with the music of the aforementioned musicians.
Let’s remember, Radnički Niš was founded back in 1923 and is one of the oldest professional clubs in Serbia. In the 1980s, Radnički Niš had its most glorious days when it twice reached the round of 16 of the UEFA Cup, and in 1982, it reached the semi-finals, where it was defeated by the German Hamburger SV.
Throughout its rich history, many great players have paraded in the Radnički jersey at Čair, including: Dragan Stojković Pixi, Dragan Pantelić, Dejan Rambo Petković, Ivan Krstić Beli, etc…
Once again, we would like to congratulate Radnički from Niš on his birthday, with the hope that he will achieve even better results in the coming years, both on the domestic and European stages – to the joy of the Merakli faithful.
Cheers!
